I'm an AI and full-stack engineer in Toronto. I build web apps end to end, from Postgres schemas and FastAPI backends to the AI features on top, and I care about the parts that have to hold up once real users show up.
About
Most of my work is the part users don't see.
I'm Arya, a full-stack & AI developer based in Toronto. I hold a BSc in Computer Science with a Machine Learning specialization from York University, and a background in Electrical Engineering. Since 2023 I've worked as a web and full-stack developer, building 20+ production applications for clients in web, AI, and healthcare.
The import pipeline, the job queue, the schema underneath: that's where most of my time goes. Postgres schemas, FastAPI endpoints, and Celery workers picking up anything too slow to run inside a request. React and Next.js on the front. On the AI side I've built RAG pipelines end to end, from chunking and embeddings through to answers that cite the page they came from.

LLQP Study Assistant RAG System
· Agentic RAG chatbot for Canadian insurance exam preparationA RAG system for LLQP exam candidates. It ingests the official study PDFs, embeds them into Qdrant, and answers questions with a citation back to the document and page it used. Runs as both a web widget and a Telegram bot.

4 projectsI built Typhoon Tire end to end: React storefront, FastAPI backend, Postgres schema, and a Celery worker pool that pulls in supplier feeds without blocking the store. Admin panel, JWT auth, and Docker deployment came with it.
AI & LLM Integrations
6 projectsI built a study assistant over the LLQP insurance-exam material. It ingests the official PDFs, retrieves from Qdrant, and answers with the document and page number it used. Same pipeline, two front doors: a web widget and a Telegram bot.
ML & Data Pipelines
6 projectsTraining and evaluation, mostly. A CNN that placed in the top 5% on Kaggle’s digit recognizer, a local pipeline that transcribes podcasts with Whisper and indexes them in ChromaDB, and a Telegram bot that guesses a song’s genre from its audio features.
Custom CMS & WordPress Systems
5 projectsWordPress and WooCommerce work for paying clients: a healthcare store where products are gated behind a valid prescription, a pharmacy whose intake forms route themselves to the right clinic, an artist portfolio that pulls live listings from Etsy.
