Keyvan Fehri Portfolio

Overview

Toronto-based ceramic artist Keyvan Fehri needed a professional online presence that showcased his work and directed collectors to purchase through his existing Etsy store. The result is a lightweight portfolio with real-time Etsy product syncing.

The Problem

An Etsy storefront alone doesn't convey artistic credibility. Potential gallery clients, collaborators, and press needed a dedicated space to explore his body of work in context — not inside a marketplace.

My Role

Designed and built the full site — responsive layout, collections browsing, artist statement sections, and the Etsy product feed integration for seamless purchase flow.

Challenges

Getting the visual balance right for an art portfolio — the site must enhance the work, not compete with it. Keeping the UI minimal so the photography takes over.

What I Learned

For creative portfolios, restraint is a design decision. The fewer UI elements competing for attention, the more the work stands out.
