Overview

OptimumPharmacy.ca is a Canadian healthcare website serving patients and referring clinics. The project upgraded and expanded the site's capabilities — modernizing the infrastructure, automating form workflows, and building out a new subdomain for fertility services.

The Problem

Submitted form data was being manually routed to clinics, causing delays in patient care. The site also needed a dedicated expansion for fertility services and had inconsistent mobile layout across pages.

My Role

Led the full site revamp including infrastructure refactoring, form automation build, and subdomain/DNS setup. Worked closely with the client to stay aligned with evolving healthcare compliance requirements.

Challenges

Ensuring the form automation was reliable enough for a healthcare context — a missed notification could delay patient care. I built redundancy with backup archiving before any clinic alert fires.

What I Learned

In healthcare, automation isn't about speed alone — it's about auditability and reliability. Every automated action needs a traceable backup, and failure should be loud, not silent.
