About

GitHub activity

I turn hard problems into clean, working software.

I'm Arya, a full-stack and ML developer based in Toronto. I hold a BSc in Computer Science with a Machine Learning specialization from York University, and a background in Electrical Engineering. Since 2023, I've been working as a web & full-stack developer; building 20+ production applications for clients across web, AI, and healthcare.

I care about architecture, performance, and shipping things that actually work. I'm comfortable across the full stack: from database design and REST APIs to React frontends and LLM integrations.

What I build

  • Full-Stack Web Apps, Backend Systems & APIs

    4 projects

End-to-end from schema design to a deployed, monitored product. Auth flows, role-based dashboards, REST APIs, async workers, bulk import pipelines, and CI/CD — the full lifecycle, not just the frontend.

  • AI & LLM Integrations

    6 projects

RAG pipelines, vector embeddings, and prompt engineering wired into real products. Grounded assistants that cite sources, chatbots scoped to your data, and LLM features that actually ship.

  • ML & Data Pipelines

    6 projects

Models from notebook to deployed API — training, evaluation, and serving. Feature pipelines, vector similarity search, re-ranking, and structured output extraction packaged as stable, versioned services.

  • Custom CMS & WordPress Systems

    5 projects

Bespoke WordPress builds, headless CMS architectures, and custom plugin development. Multi-role admin panels, ACF-driven content workflows, and WooCommerce extensions built for real editorial and e-commerce teams.

My journey in software

Computer Science, BSc Honours

York University — Machine Learning specialization

2022
  • Graduated with honours, specializing in machine learning, algorithms, and statistical modeling.

First Production Work — Web Development

Freelance · Veluxur (joined late 2023)

2023
  • Built and debugged production WordPress and PHP sites, delivering CRM integrations for live clients.
  • Joined Veluxur as a web developer; reinforcing the fundamentals: product structures, algorithms, documenting, and clean architecture.

Going Deeper — Systems & Machine Learning

Veluxur · TELUS International (Ad Specialist)

2024
  • Applied system design and scalable architecture to multi-service production applications at Veluxur.
  • Built EMR-integrated, PHIPA-compliant tools for medical clients; automated workflows that cut manual effort by up to 60%.

Modern Full-Stack & Generative AI

Veluxur

2025
  • Earned the Google Generative AI Leader certification and crossed 15+ production applications shipped.
  • Moved to a type-safe modern stack (TypeScript, React, and Next.js) and integrated LLM and RAG features into products.

Scaling Up — DevOps & Applied ML

Veluxur — Present

2026
  • Building out DevOps and infrastructure: CI/CD pipelines, QA, Docker, and cloud deployment automation.
  • Completing end-to-end machine learning projects, from data pipeline to trained, deployed models.
